Project Background

Gaza has experienced widespread destruction affecting homes, hospitals, schools and places of worship. Hundreds of masjids have been partially damaged or destroyed, particularly across the northern area. Beyond prayer, masjids serve as centres for Quran education, community support, humanitarian coordination and psychological wellbeing. Restoring these facilities is essential to rebuilding resilient communities.
